I am excited to offer my first photography calendar, 2026 - The Birds of Cape Coral!
Cape Coral is known for its burrowing owls, but we have so much more. Living on a freshwater canal in central Cape Coral, I was able to provide many of the photos for this calendar from my own backyard. Other photos came from neighboring yards: photographing burrowing owls, and the yard across the street that supplies worms to the yellow-crowned night heron that returns each year when the rain starts.
The calendar is offered for $20 plus $5 shipping. If you are local, you can purchase at Harbour View Gallery at Cape Harbour.
You can view the photos included in the calendar by scrolling through the gallery below.
My photographic journey began at age 13, when I won an instamatic camera playing bingo at a corporate picnic. Photography became a hobby, taking pictures of everything that seemed interesting at the time.
Also during that time, I fell in love with nature and being outdoors, amidst the bayous and forests on the Texas/Louisiana border. I discovered the healing power of Mother Nature.
Life, motherhood and career happened, which limited time with my camera. But children grow up, careers end, and I rediscovered my love of nature, the outdoors and photography. This website is a compilation of the galleries I have created since.
Most of my work pertains to photographing the natural world in various locales/countries. Photos of nature are soothing and I love providing them for my clients' homes and medical facilities. I donate several photos to various wildlife and music charities each year to support their fundraising efforts.
My work is printed mainly on high-definition ChromaLuxe metal panels, which best portray the vibrancy of the subject. I also print on canvas and paper upon request. I ship for free in the USA.
